Anti Defamation League
Milly, Molly North America Ltd. is pleased to announce that three Milly, Molly books have been placed in their bibliography of recommended books by the US-based Anti Defamation League.
Rachelle Spielvogel, Assistant Director of the ADL's Training & Curriculum Division wrote "I look forward to working with you... in promoting anti-bias and multicultural books for children. I feel the Milly Molly books are really positive for children, and translate very important issues across to young people in a simple yet intelligent and effective way. We are very happy to feature three of the Milly Molly books in our bibliography: Milly, Molly and Special Friends, Milly, Molly and Alf, & Milly, Molly and Different Dads."
The Anti-Defamation League is the world's leading organization for the provision of programmes and services to counteract hatred, prejudice and bigotry. Its over-riding purpose is "to secure justice and fair treatment to all citizens alike and to put an end forever to unjust and unfair discrimination against, and ridicule of, any sect or body of citizens." The ADL was founded in 1913 by B'nai B'rith. It has 29 offices in the United States and 3 offices in other countries. The ADL's US national headquarters are located in New York. The organisation has an annual budget of over US $40 million.
